# 6_ Nada nuevo bajo el Sol

Salut!

This week has been quite a lot more quiet -which is good sometimes. I love the fact that uni is open 24/7, so we can meet at school some evenings and weekends, which is the case right now, and make it a bit less boring :) Other than that, been babysitting a little hyperactive 3-year-old, which I happened to like a lot from the first day, but it was only a one weekend thing. At the same time, my flat mates in Barcelona celebrated our flat's "1st Bday" with a live concert as last year. Marta did an amazing poster for it, and a little entry on her blog :)

Lectures week starts next weekend, so the plan for the next days is, work work work so we are free then, and finish planning our NYC-Boston trip. Cecilia, Sara and me, of course. The italian-spanish team.

I haven't taken any interesting pics this week, but here are some anyway.

# 5_ Thanks giving weekend

Ciao!

Back to work after a long weekend of sightseeing and partying... We can say it's been a busy weekend starting from the sacred 5à7 on thursday (4/4 so far), followed by nights out, visits to the Old Port and downtown, Jardin Botanique, Jean-Talon's market; Jenny (my coloq')'s birthday, mexican food and surrounded by the usual bunch of exchange students... Can't complain. I was having a great time so far, but now it's being amazing =D. But it's time to work now,

# 4_ It's not all about winter

Salut!

Some pics to prove it's not all about the cold here as it seems to be. For the first time ever I am liking Autumn and might actually stop considering it a useless season in betwen summer and winter. At least here in Canada, where as corny as it souds, the sun light and colors are just amazing...

Also, there is quite a good offer of stuff to do, so keeping ourselves busy. :) Last Sunday = Piknic Electronik!

# 3_ Beers and Mont tremblant

Salut à tous!

Last friday, Mauro invitited us to the 5à9 de Polytechnique. For those of you who don't know what a 5à9/4à7 is, that's when for those hours the cafeteria or another room at uni turns into a proper bar and sells beers at a decent price. So basically, it is a good reason to go to school :) We have decided to go to the 5à9 every thursday at my faculty, and friday's at Mauro's. Let's see how the plan goes. After the 5à9 we went to my place have some italian pasta, and a couple beers. Good times.

As the good exchage studets we are, we took yesterday to go on an excursion. We went to Mont Tremblant, 2 hours away. The place was pure beauty, and not counting the fact that there was mud everywhere, and we didn't have the appropiate shoes, it was a great day and we met a bunch of new people. Here some pics:

# 2_ NY weekend

Last week, we didn't have "Prototypage rapide" class. When we found out, Cecilia (one of my 2 italians <3 ) and me thought we should take advantage of it. And after thinking about it during the whole week, we decided to go for a NY weekend. Overnight bus on thursday, overnight bus on sunday. Totally worth it. Here's some pics.
